My niece Madison and I collaborated on a traditional Hawaiian-style quilt known as a "tifaifai." This quilt was inspired by a story in Madison's 2nd grade reader. The quilt was featured in the "Christmas on the Grand" celebration and exhibit at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, Grand Rapids, Mich.
