Interview 2

Hi,
I have been busy with a trip to Missouri to visit a friend or two. Unfortunately, the six inches of snow and sheet of ice that decided to cover the southern part of the state forced me to cut my travels short and head back toward Chicago instead. Ahh, that just gives me more time to get ready to do the taxes.
I am working on another edition of the Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. Portfolio. The submission deadline has just passed for artists to get their works to me. I must have gotten about 200 e-mails in one day from SAQA artists! Too bad this level of popularity never lasts.

Thought you might like to see one example of the works to be included in the next Portfolio. Here is a recent work from Judith Content. She hand dyes and discharges her own fabrics to create these wonderful silk works that glow with color. A couple years ago I saw one of her works in an exhibit. The photos just can’t do them justice.
